Maple Leaf Aviation Limited is an independently owned company with over 70 years plus experience, provides Aircraft Maintenance, MD-M Services for Importing Aircraft, Tie-down & Hangar Storage and Fuel Sales.

Maple Leaf Aviation Limited is located at No. 3 Hangar on 455 Agnew Drive on the Brandon Municipal Airport (McGill Field).

The company was formed in 1946 as “Brandon Air Service” and became Maple Leaf Aviation Limited in 1952. Jim and Beth Wall purchased the company in 1971. Jim was the President and General Manager for over 60 years until his passing in 2011. With David Wall taking over in his dad’s capacity, the staff continues to provide friendly professional service to our valued aviation customers.

The Maple Leaf Aviation Staff:

David Wall, President and General Manager of Maple Leaf Aviation Limited has been in the business with over 40 years experience. Dave is the Director of Maintenance, Operations Manager, Chief Pilot and is an MD-M Transport Canada delegate providing complete import services for all single and twin engine aircraft, helicopters and agricultural aircraft.

Christine, Office Manager, is instrumental in the daily operations at MLA. Since 1999, Christine provides support to customers navigating through the importing process; general aviation document inquiries and of course our Aircraft Speed Mods inquiries.

Jarrett, Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer M1, private Pilot and Air Cadet graduate

Grant, Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer M1, private Pilot and composite specialist

Riley, Aircraft Maintenance Journeyperson

Karen, Administrative Assistant, with a background in office management, enjoys assisting aviation customers with their needs.

Dale, alternate Commercial Pilot.

Roy Sobchuk, R.S. Designs and Consultant – off-site adviser and consultant for Aircraft Speed Mods.

The staff has extensive recurrent and updating training as per Transport Canada Requirements including MPM, MCM, QPM, Flight Crew training, Human Factors, emergency procedures, handling dangerous goods, and various other aviation tech courses. We take pride in providing the utmost in customer care and will answer any questions you might have. We take the time to do research in accordance with guidelines directly affecting each customer’s aircraft.
